Arent's these colors speaking autumn or Halloween to you at Pals Paper Arts this week?

For me it was a Halloween card:

I've wanted to try to create a pumpkin with our "Ovals Collection Framelits Dies" for quite some time now and these colors were so perfect! I think a black crow would be awesome also!

When folded, my  "Calypso Coral Cardstock" card base measured 5 1/2" x 3 3/4" and I added an oval framelit at one end once the card base was folded to cut through both layers. You need to insert the card base positioned sideways on your Big Shot Clear Plate and only cut the very end, not the whole oval. Once you have the end cut off, crank your Big Shot backwards to push it back out. Repeat on the 2nd side. I then cut 3 more ovals to use for layering. All of my pieces were embossed using the "Woodgrain Embossing Folder" and sponged with "Calypso Coral Ink":

The "Modern Label Punch" was used for the stem of my pumpkin and the "Bird Punch" was used for the branches. Listed below are all the supplies I used for today's card:

  • Cardstock: Calypso Coral, Baked Brown Sugar, Very Vanilla
  • Inks: Baked Brown Sugar
  • Stamps: Halloween Bash
  • Tools: Big Shot Machine, Ovals Collection Framelits, Woodgrain Embossing Folder, Bird Punch, Modern Label Punch, Decorative Label Punch, Ticket Punch, Stampin' Dimensionals, Sponge Daubers
  • Accessories: Jumbo Pearls, Basic Pearl Jewels
