As promised! A few days ago I posted this card which has a beautiful "Washi Tape Medallion" that I created for my sentiment layer. I told you I would show you how to create the medallion:

Grab a few supplies and come join me!

You will need:

Washi Tape of your choice
Cardstock
1 3/4" Circle Punch
Paper Snips

Step 1:

Cut out one circle using cardstock and the 1 3/4" Circle Punch.

Step 2:

Starting at the edge of your circle, glue your Washi Tape about 1/4" on the edge.

Step 3:

Pleat your ribbon and push down to glue in place, pleat again and push in place. The pictures below show you how I went around the whole circle pleating and pushing:

Step 4:

Once you get to the end, cut off your Washi about 1/4" longer and tuck in under the first pleat to hide your end! Glue in place on your card front using Stampin Dimensionals:

Add your sentiment which I also glued in place using Stampin' Dimensionals. Don't forget that we now carry various sets of patterns at Stampin' Up! and you can do so much with the Washi tape. Here are all 4 that we are now carrying:
