We had a great workshop a few weeks ago for Lisa and friends. Lisa had requested a "Thinking of You" workshop so all the cards I showed went with this theme. You can never have enough of those type cards on hand. Most times when you need one of those cards, something last minute has happened so I always have some handy "just in case".
This is the first card I demo'd:
 

I showed the girls how to ink up the "Woodgrain Embossing Folder" using a "Brayer" for a unique background and I also showed them how to use two different sized ovals from the "Ovals Collection Framelits" to create a ring. I also embossed the ring with the "Square Lattice Embossing Folder" and glued it in place using "Stampin' Dimensionals":

  • Cardstock: Pistachio Pudding, Very Vanilla
  • Inks: Baked Brown Sugar Ink, Baked Brown Sugar, Smoky Slate, Pistachio Pudding, Crisp Canteloupe & Calypso Coral Stampin' Write Markers

Card #2:


Maybe you don't own any of the scalloped cutting products? How about using any sized circle punch to make your own? That's what I demo'd on this card!


Cut out all the circles you need, curl one edge with your "Bone Folder" and glue them all side-by-side in strips to resemble scallops. Neat!

Card #3, Make n Take:

 

All of the girls that attended were able to make this card to take home with them. I had them use 3 different sizes from the "Circles Collection Framelits" to make 3 holes on the stamped layer and using a "Sponge Dauber", sponge "Blushing Bride Ink" around all of the edges. The stamped background is from "En Francais".
