Today I am just playing around...........I found these two cute patterns on Lynn Pratt's blog and wanted to try the both of them. The patterns can be found HERE. Thanks Lynn for offering these patterns to customers at no charge.

Even though these patterns require some tracing and cutting, they are both so much fun to make. I find that when you sit and cut and snip here and there, it is so relaxing. Not so true to some of my customers when I hold workshops........some of them hate to cut (right Polly?).

Here is a close-up photo of the dress:

I used the "Eyelet Border Punch" for the bottom to create a lace-like look and I used the "Scallop Circle Punch" for the collar. I added a little "Itty Bitty Button" and a strip of "White 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon".
The overalls are also pictured below:

I added two strips of DSP to the bottom of the overalls to create cuffs and then added stitch lines with a "Stampin' Write Marker". I again added a little "Itty Bitty Button" to the pocket of the overalls.
By using two-sided "Designer Series Paper", you create the look of layers with two different patterns. You can also add a sentiment to the front of each card if you like. Try one today!
