Introducing the "Tri-Fold" card. Instead of scoring your background piece of cardstock in half, why not try folding in 3's? My background piece is the same size as a normal card but I scored it on both ends at 2 1/4" from each end. When you fold on your score lines, both ends overlap each other a little.

The picture below shows you what the card looks like when laying down:

For my panel, I used "Pear Pizzazz" then layered with "Poppy Parade". On my "Poppy Parade" layer, I embossed with the "Petals-A-Plenty Impressions Folder" and spritzed with "Champagne Mist Shimmer Spray".

For my image, I used the tree from the set "Contempo Christmas". I used "Pear Pizzazz" ink and colored the planter with my "Poppy Parade Stampin' Write Marker". I then added a "Rhinestone Jewel". The image was cut out with the new 2 3/8" Scallop Circle Punch". I added a strip of "Whisper White Grosgrain Ribbon" around the layer. I then adhered the layer over one of the folds.

The sentiment is from the same stamp set and again, I used my "Stampin' Write Markers" to color the wording, cut around it with my "Paper Snips" and adhered part of it the the same card fold. I added a few more "Rhinestone Jewels" for added pizzazz!
Stay tuned tomorrow as I am showing you my very first Pop-Up card!
