Yesterday, (Saturday) I traveled to Sherman for a workshop with Fran and her friends. Below are pictures of the Hostess Gift I presented Fran. I found out she loves butterflies so I made a matching card and goodie holder for her:

Now on to the demonstration. I demo'd this first card. It has a little tiny 3-D flower attached to the front.

To make this flower, cut 4 of the Scallop Circle Punch. Sponge all edges with ink. Crinkle the first three scallop shapes into a tight ball, then unroll. Layer all 4 pieces on top of each other, keeping the un-crinkled layer on the bottom. Using your paper piercer, punch a hole in the center of all four scallop shapes and secure with some type of brad. Play with the layers and fluff them until you are happy with the results.

The remainder of the card uses the Extra Large Bird Punch (leaves), half-back pearls and the Lattice Die.
For my second demonstration, I created this card:

You can click HERE to view the instructions in a previous post.
The 3rd and final card was a Make-n-Take that everyone had the chance to create and bring home with them.

Instead of the Perfect Plum background in the picture, we used Brocade Blue to change it up. The instructions for this card are also in a previous post HERE.
