Today I have another out of the ordinary card with fancy folds on the front. Isn't this card awesome? I found this on Valita's Fresh Folds blog. This is another one of those cards that is simple to create. Don't be scared away by looking at it and thinking.....no way, I can't do that!! Follow the pattern listed below and you'll discover for yourself how easy and satisfying this card is to create.
I used the "Vintage Vogue" stamp set on the card front and I also sponged all the edges with "Chocolate Chip" ink and SU! sponges. Additional ink colors used were "Old Olive" and "Rose Red".
The photo below shows you the dimension of this fold. The folds make the card front appear to have multiple layers where in essence, I only have two layers.

Start out by cutting a "Whisper White" cardstock piece measuring 8.5" x 11" and cut in half to a size of 5.5" x 4. 25". Fold in half. Using the photo below, create your folds by following the measurements I have drawn. Once folded, this is where you would sponge ink on the edges or you can leave plain without sponging. Apply little dots of "Tombow Glue" underneath your folds and apply pressure so that the folds will stay in place.

Using colored cardstock, cut a piece with the measurements of 5.5" x 4.25". Slide this cardstock piece under the fancy fold layer and glue into place. Now you are ready to decorate your card front with your chosen stamps. The possibilities are endless! Let me know how you make out! I would love to see your design!
