How about trying your hand at stenciling? You will be amazed at how easy the process is and you'll feel a great accomplishment once you have completed a project using the stencils below:




This package of three is called Elegant Trio Décor Stencils. Item #118262. Preferred Price: $9.95

Transform plain into pretty with the varied images in our versatile Elegant Trio stencil set. Our stencils can be used on most surfaces so you can add an accent anywhere you can imagine--on walls, wood, fabric, and more.

■ Dimensions: 4-3/8" x 2-1/2"

For this card I used Certainly Celery for the background color and sponged all the edges. For the second layer, I used the Very Vintage Jumbo Wheel inked in Close to Cocoa and again sponged the edges. I then added the stenciled image using sponge daubers, and stenciled two separate layers of the same stencil. I then added an Epoxy Brad to the center of the stencil.

To complete the card, add a 1/4" Grosgrain ribbon in Certainly Celery. The sentiment is from the stamp set Whimsical Words.

I have other samples that were completed with stencils here.

I am also in the process of adding stencils to the entryway in our new home. I'll post pictues when I have the room completed.
