Pals Paper Arts is having a color challenge this week. As I've mentioned in my previous posts, my camera decided to croak on me this week so I'm playing catch-up on my posts. The color challenge was to use: Old Olive, Real Red and Tempting Turquoise. Here is my card for this week:

I really love how the background turned out. I used the new "Presto Patterns Specialty Paper" in the new "Summer Mini Catalog". This paper is pre-embossed. When you add ink, the embossing resists the ink, therefore creating a beautiful background. I used the 3 colors mentioned for the color challenge for my inks and sponged them all on here and there. I also used my "Big Shot" with the "Little Leaves Sizzlit", "Lots of Tags Sizzlit", & the "Daisies Flower 2 Die". Punches used were the "Word Window Punch", "Itty Bitty Buttons Punch Pack" and the "Eyelet Border Punch". Accessories used are "Brads", "Grosgrain Ribbon", & "Itty Bitty Buttons". I sprayed my flowers with the new "Smooch Spray" in vanilla. Notice the "threads" in the buttons? Those are hand-made with cardstock. Snip a very skinny piece of cardstock with your paper cutter and thread through the button and tie!
