A good friend of mine contacted me a while ago (Hi Pam!) to come to her "All Girls Weekend". Pam owns a lodge where not only can she rent to hunters, atvers, and snowmobilers but us crafty people. I actually have a weekend in October booked for a bunch of girls and we will be crafting all weekend in our jammies if we choose to! Anyway, I showed up to have Pam's girls complete 2 cards. This group of girls had never stamped and fell in love with what we completed.

This is the first card I had them make. I knew they had never stamped so I started out with a very simple design:


They all loved how the Big Shot Machine embosses cardstock panels. We used the  Northern Flurry Embossing Folder on this card:

Card #2:


Since the get-together was at a lodge, I decided to use wildlife in my 2nd card. The moose image in the Walk In The Wild Stamp Set is a wonderful depiction of our life here in Maine. It's not uncommon to see these huge beasts right in our back yards at times! I showed the girls how to sponge their own clouds, how to sponge on the edge of cardstock and how to use the Woodgrain Embossing Folder along with a Sanding Block:

 
We had a really good time and I ended up adding a new downline to my team that very same day. Welcome to Amy Lane!
