PPA54-A Masculine KISS
For today's KISS (Keep It Simple, Sweetie) challenge, we've added an extra dimension to it and have made it a masculine KISS challenge.
The following are suggested guidelines for creating a KISS -able card:
Clean, with lots of "white" space
Simple Designs
Minimum time to create
Limited layers and embellishments
If it's KISS-able to you, it's KISS-able to us!! We're looking forward to seeing your masculine KISS.
Below is the masculine card I created:
Create your own stencils! Did you know any of the Stampin' Up! punches are great to create your own stencils with? I used the "Cog Punch" and punched a few cogs, carefully placed them on my "Crumb Cake" card front and used a "Sponge Dauber" and sponged around each cog. What a cool background this creates.
Incorporate the "Square Lattice Impressions Folder" to create a quick, skinny little strip with "Chocolate Chip cardstock" to decorate the edge of your card. I also added a little bit of "Log Cabin Smooch Spritz" on the bottom corner of the card.
The sentiment is from the "Wonderful Favorites" stamp set. My nephew's birthday is in a few weeks and being the he is also my godchild, I thought this card was perfect for him. He and his dad spend every weekend at the racetrack racing cars so I thought this card would please him.
Add a few cogs and a few brads and your card is quick and complete.
