I was cleaning out my stamp room yesterday and came across a packet of 4 "Petal Die" shapes I had previously cut with my "Big Shot" and never did anything with them. I was so sad when Stampin' Up! retired this die. I figured I would still use up these shapes and create a little box for you. Even though this die is no longer available, this will still give you an idea on how to decorate any type of box.

I started out with 4 "Petal Die" shapes:

My first step was to cut one end off of all 4:

The next step shows you where I added "Sticky Strip":

I removed the red backing off of 3 of the sticky strips and adhered all 4 of the shapes in a row. Remember to keep the sticky strip backing on the 4th shape, we will remove this one later:

I used my "Big Shot" and cut out a "Top Note" and cut it in half with my paper cutter. I then stamped the flower images from the "Fast & Fabulous" stamp set:

I then used the 2 step part of the stamp set to add color to my stamped images. Glue the "Top Note" shape to your box sides:

Now we will start assembling the box. Remove the backing from the last petal and adhere the last side to form the box:

Flip the box over so that the bottom is facing you, add "Tombo Mono-adhesive" to two sides like I did below:

Fold the other two flaps over and hold in place to glue:

For the top of the box, I used my "Scallop Circle Punch" and cut out 2, then cut them in half. I again used a flower image from the same stamp set and followed the two steps, Glue one half to each of 4 flaps. Close your box by alternating flaps until the last one is tucked under the first one you started with:

I wrapped a "Night of Navy" strip of "1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon" around the whole box and glued it with "Mini Glue Dots". I then added a bow on top of the strip. I also added a "Pearl Jewel" to each side. Isn't this little box just so cute!!
