Pals Paper Arts has a "Monochromatic Color Challenge" this week and it is a fairly new challenge at PPA, but they think that it will become one of our favorite challenges.
The color that they are highlighting for this week's Monochromatic Color Challenge is PURPLE (and any variation thereof.)
This is my card.......
I decided to also go "clean & simple" this week. The background color I used is "Perfect Plum". Once my cardstock piece was folded in half, I opened the cardstock back up and I scored two lines at the top for the front. For my other layers, I first stamped with "Elegant Eggplant Classic Ink" and then used my "Big Shot" and the new "Scallop Rectangle Clearlits". I just love this new little rectangular shape. It has it's own clear window so you can see where you are cutting. It enables you to ink first, cut after. I added "Stampin' Dimensionals" to the back and adhered them both to an "Elegant Eggplant" cardstock layer. Glue to the front of the card. I completed my card by adding 4 little "Bitty Buttons" on top of cardstock that was punched with the "Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack" in "Elegant Eggplant".
