I'm being silly today..........first of all I felt like creating a Christmas card. I remember last year I was so sick of them by the time Christmas finally reached us.

So why am I being silly? I took a flower image from the "Fast & Fabulous Hostess Set" and turned it upside down.......and now you have a mistletoe!

I just love the newest red......"Poppy Parade". It seems to have just a smidgen of orange added to it, just enough to almost make it a fire red. I embossed the bottom portion with the "Finial Press Impressions Folder" and my "Big Shot". All you do is insert the cardstock only part-way into your folder so that only a small portion of your card is embossed. I then used "Frost White Shimmer Paint" and a "Sponge Dauber" and gently rubbed over the embossing. Look at the close-up below:


For the image in the circle, I stamped the image with "Early Espresso" and filled it in with "Pear Pizzazz". I added 3 brads to simulate holly berries. The small ribbon that adorns the top is "1/4" Taffeta Ribbon in Early Espresso". Notice the scalloped sides to my circle? I punched a "Scallop Circle Punch" in "Pear Pizzazz" and snipped it in half. Carefully tuck one on each side.

Add any holiday sentiment to the bottom of the circle.

I also added a small strip of "Pear Pizzazz" that I used my "Scallop Border Punch" and also added another strip of ribbon to. The two flowers were made using the "Boho Blossoms Punch" and a brad in the center.
