This new stamp set brings back memories of my childhood. The stamp set is called "Pedaling Past" and has a total of 6 stamps available in the Clear Mount or the Wood Mount. The little antique bicycles are so cute! This set made me realize how we used to travel with our bicycles as children. Everyone owned one. Now, these days, I hardly ever notice children or young adults enjoying nature and life as we did on our bicycles. Seems like parents have become taxi's instead! Oh, what they are missing!

I created my own background using the "Mostly Vintage Decor Stencils". This stencil actually comes with two pieces. A postive image and a negative image. I used the negative image for this background. I used "Chocolate Chip" ink and a sponge to ink the outside of the stencil. I positioned the stencil on different areas throughout my paper and "pounced" with my sponge. I added more ink in the middles. Very easy technique!

I also added the some "Smooch Spritz" in "Gold Glow" over the sponged background. It's hard to notice in the picture but the spritz gives it a vintage look.

I trimmed the top edge with my "Scallop Border Punch".
Now on to the stamped image. I again used "Chocolate Chip" ink and sprayed "Smooch Spritz". The shape is from the "Wide Oval Punch" layered over a tag from the "Lots of Tags" sizzlit using "Stampin' Dimensionals" to give height to the stamped image. I added "5/8" Chocolate Chip Satin Ribbon" to the card and tied a "Clear Button" on one end of the ribbon. I also added two pieces of "Linen Thread" to each side of the ribbon. Complete the card with brads and a sentiment from the same stamp set.
