I created my own background using the "Mostly Vintage Decor Stencils". This stencil actually comes with two pieces. A postive image and a negative image. I used the negative image for this background. I used "Chocolate Chip" ink and a sponge to ink the outside of the stencil. I positioned the stencil on different areas throughout my paper and "pounced" with my sponge. I added more ink in the middles. Very easy technique!I also added the some "Smooch Spritz" in "Gold Glow" over the sponged background. It's hard to notice in the picture but the spritz gives it a vintage look.
Now on to the stamped image. I again used "Chocolate Chip" ink and sprayed "Smooch Spritz". The shape is from the "Wide Oval Punch" layered over a tag from the "Lots of Tags" sizzlit using "Stampin' Dimensionals" to give height to the stamped image. I added "5/8" Chocolate Chip Satin Ribbon" to the card and tied a "Clear Button" on one end of the ribbon. I also added two pieces of "Linen Thread" to each side of the ribbon. Complete the card with brads and a sentiment from the same stamp set.
