Butterflies for Spring!

The grass is green, and the weather has been superb here in Maine. I've never seen the month of March so beautiful and April followed right behind. We usually start mowing our grass in the middle of May and now, I bet by next week , we'll be mowing. I love it!!

I used the "Flight of the Butterfly" stamp set for this card.



Notice the layers. I added a layered of butterflies to my card and then "lifted" my second layer by adding a Stampin' Dimensional" on each butterfly. The coordinating Butterfly Punch makes this card a Quick & Simple card to create.


Tip: when using a sentiment stamp that is real skinny, it tends to sway a little when stamping. I removed the foam layer from my rubber, and glued the rubber directly to my wood. This way there is no swaying or movement and the sentiment is nice and flat.
