I've been double-posting in the last few days because I've been hosting my "12 Days of Christmas Treat Holders" and I had made those all ahead of time. I've been missing stamping so thus the extra daily posts. I've been joining in on some challenges this week in blogland. It feels so good to have some spare time to do that! Of course I'm home sick with a bad head cold too.

Today I picked the Merry Monday Challenge. Look at what they have in store for us this week:

I decided to go with a pattern I created a few years ago and use a "shaped" mitten:

I used C'ordinations paper and embossed it using the Fancy Fan Embossing Folder. Once the embossing was sanded with a Sanding Block, the design really shaped up to look like a knitted mitten. And I used Silver Glimmer Paper for the cuff of the mitten:

Card Supplies:
  • Cardstock: C'ordinations Paper, Silver Glimmer Paper, Whisper White Cardstock, Basic Gray Cardstock
  • Inks: Real Red, Tempting Turquoise
  • Accessories: Pearl Jewels, Baker's Twine
  • Stamps: Snowflake Soiree
  • Tools: Big Shot Machine, Fancy Fan Embossing Folder, Bird Punch, Stampin' Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots, Sponge Dauber, Sanding Block, Scalloped Tag Topper Punch (coming soon!)
If you would like to print the pattern of my mitten, here is the google docs link: Mitten Pattern
