First up are two picture frames that we made for her Step Dad's parents, Tom & Peggy. They both love to mow their lawn together and they each have their own riding lawn mowers. Peggy's even has a custom paint job...pink! So my daughter saw this on Pinterest and want me to help Kaitlynn replicate the project for the both of them:
Notice that the body of the tractor on both frames are Kaitlynn's feet! She was a trooper when she found out I had to paint the bottom of her feet! We did one at a time. I place the Whisper White Cardstock sheet on the floor, had her sit on the floor, painted one foot at a time, picked her up and place her foot on the cardstock:
I helped her a little when building the canopy for the tractor but the remaining items she cut herself. She loved using the Sponge Daubers to add color to our Cupcake Punch "clouds".
Next (this was her own idea), she told me she needed 3 Christmas cards...one for mommy, one for TJ and one for Peggy & Tom. Below is the grouping of all 3 cards. She picked all her own colors and stamped all the image with a little bit of guidance. I cut all the cardstock layers that she picked out:
First up is Tom & Peggy's. Kaitlynn loved adding all of the Rhinestone Jewels to each snowflake center:
And this one was for Mommy, the sentiment is just a tad crooked but hey, a 5 year old made this:
And finally, her 3rd card is for TJ. TJ loves to hunt so this image is so appropriate don't you think?
Kaitlynn giggled when we added the red nose and she again loved to add Rhinestone Jewels to the antlers.
All-in-all we had a great time putting these projects together. I see a future Stampin' Up! Demonstrator on the way soon, to a place near you!
