Wow, I am on Day 10 of my 12 Days of Christmas Treat Holders. I hope I have given you some inspiration to whip some of the treat holders for last minute treasures. I've tried to keep them simple in case you needed to mass produce.
Today is another simple one:
I've made these before and they remind me of a bowl to put goodies in. You can fill it with anything that fits! I started out with a piece of Cherry Cobbler Cardstock measuring 7 1/2" x 7 1/2". Score on all 4 sides at 2 1/2". On each corner, score from corner to corner to create a diagonal line:
Fold on all score lines as shown above. Now you will cut 9 pieces of designer paper measuring 2" x 2":
On 4 of those designer papers, fold them in half diagonally. All 9 of the designer papers can now be glued to each panel as shown below. Make sure you glue the designer papers that you folded in half diagonally to each corner:
Using a hand-held hole punch, punch a hole on the edge of each corner. Using Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding Ribbon, thread the ribbon through all 4 holes as shown below:
Tighten the ribbon until all 4 corners touch each other and tie the ends of your ribbon into a bow and cut off the ends. Fill your treat holder with treats:
Pretty neat huh? And quite easy. I also decorated the sides by cutting snowflakes using Silver Glimmer Paper and the Festive Flurry Framelits Dies. I added a flower in the center cut with the Boho Blossoms Punch and Cherry Cobbler Cardstock. I stacked them together and added a Mini Brad in the centers and glued them in place using Stampin' Dimensionals:
