How about some punch art today for my "12 Days of Christmas Treat Holders Day 4"! You will never guess where the bag comes from, keep reading!

The bag is from an envelope, yes it is! I will show you how to make this "bag-a-lope" after I list the supplies needed:
  • Kraft Envelope
  • Simply Scored Scoring Tool
  • Taffeta Ribbon
  • Wide Oval Punch
  • Small Oval Punch
  • 1/2" Circle Punch
  • Autumn Accents Die
  • Chocolate Chip, Whisper White, Basic Black Cardstock
  • Red Glimmer Paper
  • White Gel Pen
  • Artisan Label Punch
  • Label Love Stamp Set
  • Chocolate Chip Ink and Stampin' Write Marker
Using a Kraft Envelope, moisten and glue the flap down. Cut off the end of one short side with a paper cutter so that the end is now open. Using your scoring tool, score on the 1" guide on all 3 sealed sides:

Fold on all 3 score lines. Using the open end of your envelope, insert your hand inside the envelope and start pushing the sides of the envelope out. Pinch on the score lines to crease and form a 3-sided bag. The two pointy ends on the bottom of the box should look like the photo below as you pinch and fold:

Press the points so that they are nice and flat and in a triangular shape. Apply adhesive and glue to the bottom of the bag as shown below:

Here are the pieces I cut out for the reindeer face:

(2) leaves for the antlers
(1) Red Glimmer nose with the 1/2" Circle Punch. Add a squiggly line with the White Gel Pen
(2) Eye balls using Basic Black Cardstock and the 1/2" Circle Punch. Add squiggly lines with the White Gel Pen
(2) Eyes using Whisper White Cardstock and the Small Oval Punch
(1) Nose using Chocolate Chip Cardstock and the Wide Oval Punch

Glue all of your pieces together as shown:

You can add a mouth using the Stampin' Write Marker right below his glimmer nose. And finally, fold the flap over at the top about 1/2" and glue the antlers to the flap:

You can add a sentiment and bow at the bottom of your box like I did or decorate it to your liking.
