When I was young, my dad use to drive the whole family, which included mom and four kids to Birch Point Lake every weekend. My parents owed a business as my dad was a mechanic, so once he had the camper delivered on Friday to the camp ground lot and all set up, he would drive back home and work while my mom supervised us. He would then join up with us again on Saturday after his work day was over with. What fun times we had swimming, playing baseball, croquet and frisbee. We were like four little fish as we spent most of our time in the lake and boy did we ever get dark from all of the sun! There was even a small chapel for all of the campers that we all went to on Sunday morning.

My card for today is a beach bag for a beach bum:

I did not add a sentiment to this card as it looks perfect without one. The little clasp even has Velcro under the flap to keep it closed. And what about the anchor? I embossed it by first inking my stamp with VersaMark Ink and re-inked with Soft Suede Ink. I then stamped my image which stays wet because of the VersaMark so I was able to add Clear Embossing Powder and set with my Heat Tool:

A little Baker's Twine bow for my anchor and 2 mini flowers with the Punch pack. I embellished the clasp and two flowers with Candy Dots:
