I have had several requests for instructions in creating the layering on the decorative label punch. Here is a step-by-step tutorial on how to achieve this:

Start with your inked image or sentiment punched out with the Decorative Label Punch. Next, once you decide what color of cardstock to use for your layering, punch two of that color:

Using the photo below, cut the 2 shapes as follows, cut one in half horizontally and cut one in half verically using your Paper Snips:

Using the horizonal cut piece, remove the little ends that stick out as follows and discard the little pieces you have cut off:

The vertical cut pieces need to be snipped as pictured below. You will end up with 2 pieces that resemble a heart shape. Discard the remaining 4 pieces that were cut off:

One piece at a time, glue to your first punched shape to layer:

2nd piece:

Third piece:

and final piece:

This is what your layered Decorative Label should look like. Pretty simple huh? Now it's your turn!!
