This is a new technique I just tried! I don't know if there is a name for it yet but I love the effect. I created my card front with stamping and added the leaves. I then used my Big Shot and the Square Lattice Impressions Folder and embossed both layer together. What happens is that the leaves, which are a whole separate layer, get smooshed into the first layer and they appear to be one layer! The next photo shows a close-up:
Do you like the Chocolate Chip embossed tree? Yes, but......Stampin' Up! doesn't sell Chocolate Chip embossing powder do they? No......the trick is to first stamp your image in Chocolate Chip ink and then stamp again directly on top of the Chocolate Chip inked image with VersaMark ink using your Stamp-A-Ma-Jig. Sprinkle Clear Embossing Powder and use your Heat Gun to set. You can do this with any ink color.Card Supplies:
