This is a cute and easy technique called "Brick Wall". I will list the steps for you to achieve this look as follows and I also have a video from YouTube at the bottom of my post:
You first start out by stamping your chosen image on a square piece of cardstock.
- Turn over your stamped image cardstock piece.
- Using a ruler, pencil horizontally lines throughout the whole length of your cardstock piece, I made my lines spaced 3/4 inches apart.
- Next, draw your vertical lines. I made my lines spaced 1 inch apart. Offset every other strip so you end up with a brick pattern.
- Now you are ready to cut. Cut one horizontal strip at a time and place them on your table in order of the stamped image.
- Begin from the bottom and cut the first strip of paper along the vertical line.
- Adhere the bricks one by one, placing them on the cardstock with small spaces between to build a wall of bricks.
