Love the bats.........not in real life though. Actually, I don't even remember seeing any this year. I just learned at one of my workshops, that a customer of mine has a huge bat problem in the attic of her home. So bad that they have to hire a contractor to actually remove the roof of their home to deal with the bat infestation and once the problem has been tackled, re-attach the roof. Wow!
Want a quick way to complete a card? Why not use a punch? The technique used on this card is sponging. My first step was to cut out a circle from any of the "Circle Punches" depending on your desired size. Using the punched out circle, position it on your "Whisper White" cardstock layer and begin sponging around it. I used "Perfect Plum" and "Not Quite Navy" inks. Once that step was completed, I removed the mask and added "Daffodil Delight" to the moon by also using a sponge.
The grasses image is from the "Inspired By Nature" stamp set and inked in "Basic Black Ink". Add as many bats as desired! The sentiment is from "Teeny Tiny Wishes" and punched with the "Word Window Punch". How easy was that!

Punches are a quick and easy way to add interest, dimension, and color to your cards, tags, and scrapbook pages. You can glue punched shapes directly onto your projects or layer a sheet of card stock that has been punched over a coordinating card stock for a reverse effect.
