Today I am showing you a little 3D project that I found on Debbie Burgin's website called Heartfelt Inkspiration. This luminary which Debbie calls a "Votive Holder" has no bottom and is made to slide over a glass votive holder or a battery operated tea light. It is constructed from a 3″ x 8¼” piece of card stock. The great thing about this project is that it folds flat for mailing! The light shines through the vellum panels.
Score your piece of cardstock at 2", 4", 6" and 8". Use the Large Tag Punch for the windows and adhere Vellum paper to each one that has been stamped with any image you desire. I used the cut-out portion of the tag to trace the corners of each panel so that the corners match the angle of the window tag shape. I opted to make mine a Halloween Votive Holder. The stamp set I used is "Wicked Cool".
This is a photo of the votive holder folded flat for storing or mailing!
