Two posts today.......lucky you!!

I thought I would post a fun little project this morning. Isn't this little ice cream cone card so cute! I found this idea from Elizabeth Ruegemer on our Stampin' Connection, a place for demonstrators to view other demonstrators cards and ideas. Thanks Elizabeth.

To create this card, I first used my "Big Shot" and my "Square Scallop Die". Once this shape was cut-out, I used one of my "Background Texturz Plates" to add the waffle textured look. I then used my bone folder and folded 2 creases. Use the picture below as your guide:

Start both of your creases at the first scallop and fold to scallop #5 on each side. This will form your triangle fold for each side.

For the ice cream scoops, I used my "Scallop Circle Punch" and punched 5 in "Pink Piroutte" cardstock. I then used a "Sponge Duaber" to add "Pretty In Pink" ink to all the edges of each scallop. The little candies are stamped with a stamp from the "Sweet Scoops" stamp set in "Chocolate Chip" ink. I added a cherry by punching a circle from the "Punch Pack", hand-drawing a small crescent and adding a skinny strip of "Chocolate Chip" cardstock for the stem.

The sentiment is from "A Word For You" which I thought was perfect to go along with the cherry! I used the "Scallop Border Punch" to decorate two sides of my square. I will be adding a small piece of velcro to keep the card closed.
