The card I am showing you today is a "WOW" card for me. I never imagined using the "Bella Toile" background stamp on "Basic Black" would make me say wow! I started out with a "Whisper White" cardstock background layer. I topped that off with a layer of "Basic Black"..........but wait, before I glued it on, this is what I did...........

I stamped the "Bella Toile" image, which is a large background stamp, in "Whisper White" Craft Ink. Because I used craft ink, the ink does not dry immediately and I have time to sprinkle "White Embossing Powder" on top of the ink. The powder sticks to the "wet" ink. I then used my "Heat Tool" to melt the powder. You can not see how wonderful this looks in person. The photo does not do justice. The image is shiny and has some dimension to it.

The sentiment is from the stamp set "A Word For You", stamped in "Basic Black Ink" on a "Top Note Die" that I cut out using my "Big Shot". I cut the "Top Note" in half. I then added a strip of "Organza Ribbon" around the whole card.
I used the flower image from the "Fifth Avenue Floral" stamp set, stamped it twice and cut them out with my "Paper Snips". For the centers of the each flower, I used a "Blender Pen" and "Certainly Celery Ink" and I watercolored. I then layered buttons to each flower. Notice the fake threads on each button? The fake threads are actually cardstock that I cut out, skinny enough to thread through each button and glued to the backs of my buttons with "Mini Glue Dots". I attached the flowers to my card with "Stampin' Dimensionals" for height. The leaves are from the "Extra Large Bird Punch" and I carefully snuck them under my flowers.
