One of my very favorite NEW stamp sets is "Elements of Style". Look at the detail in the stamped images:

I used the "En Francais" background stamp for the first step in creating this card. My family is completely-100% french so I love this background stamp! Stamp the flower image over the background image. I tore one side of this layer to create a vintage-y look. Sponge ink on all layers and all sides. I colored all my images with inks and a blender pen.

Card items:
  • Layer #1: Basic Gray cardstock. Score two lines at the top for detail. Sponge all edges with Basic Black ink. Stamp top with "Elements of Style" flower image.
  • Layer #2: Whisper White cardstock. Stamp background with "En Francais" background stamp in Sahara Sand ink. Stamp flowers using Basic Black ink and the "Elements of Style" stamp set and carefully tear one side of your panel. Sponge all edges in Basic Black ink. Color using inks: Bashful Blue and Certainly Celery and a Blender Pen.
  • Layer #3: Three strips of Basic Gray cardstock punches with the Eyelet Border Punch on one side. Sponge Basic Black ink on all sides.
  • Embellish with Organza Ribbon, hummingbird cut out from the "Elements of Style" stamp set and sentiment from "Perfect Punches", a new stamp set from the new catalog debuting July 1st, punched with the Modern Label Punch.
