Out of all my new stamp sets from the new Summer Mini, the Water Color Trio has been my favorite. It is so easy to use and the images do really look like you've spent hours creating a masterpiece with watercolors.

I used Perfect Plum cardstock for the background layer. I created a torn edge to my card and tied an Old Olive 1/4" Grosgrain ribbon. Did you know that when you tear the cardstock towards you, it gives a cool edge to it? After I ripped it where I wanted it, I added a layer of Whisper White for my stamping.

I inked up my stamp images by alternating Old Olive and Perfect Plum inks. Notice the glitter on the butterfly? I used my 2-Way Glue Pen and sprinkled Dazzling Diamonds. I used the birthday sentiment from the same stamp set. Cut it out with the Large Oval Punch and add a little bit of the leafy branch stamped somewhat over the sentiment. I layered that over a Scallop Oval Punch shape in Perfect Plum cardstock.
