What a little cutie........doesn't he just want to make you smile?

Start out with a background card in Yo-Yo Yellow and emboss with the Finial Press Impressions Folder along with your Big Shot. Create the Top Note shape for the 2nd layer using Whisper White cardstock. Stamp the little tiny sentiment from A Good Egg stamp set in Chocolate Chip ink. Add two brads for embellishment.

Stamp 2 egg shapes with the same stamp set with Lavendar Lace & Lovely Lilac card stock. Cut out images using your Paper Snips. Add Pumpkin Pie ink to the bottoms of the eggs using a Sponge Dauber. Adhere your eggs to the Top Note die shape.

Creating your little chick: Using your punches, you need: (1) Wide Oval punch, (1) Scallop Circle punch, both in Yo-Yo Yellow cardstock, then follow that with a Boho Blossoms punch in Only Orange using the smallest flower.

Using the Scallop Circle, cut the shape in half and then in half again for 4 pieces, trim again 2 of the pieces, on the flat sides to make each piece a little less wide. Using your sponge dauber, sponge Only Orange around all the edges for the wings and the body. Using the flower shape, cut in half so you have 2 feet. Cut a small square for the beak, about 1/2" x 1/2" and fold in half. The eyes are made with a 1/4" handheld punch and I used my Basic Black marker to color in the pupils. Glue him together as shown in the picture and adhere to card. Complete the card by adding a bow if desired.

Happy Easter!

Don't forget to "Spring" your clock forward tonight or you might wake up an hour later than you think tomorrow!!
